Abstract

This is a qualitative case study that addresses the dynamics of collective learning as a strategy for generating knowledge and innovation in a private distance learning HEI. It presents the implementation of the ABC Strategy (Welcome Well and Continuously) used in the discipline of General Theory of Administration, taught in 19 courses, involving 2,294 students. The strategy considered WhatsApp communication practices and functionality of TEAMS and Youtube platforms, intrinsically associated with the self-instructional content of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). As results, the interdisciplinary Host, the Community of Practice for knowledge sharing and Situated Learning, daily and contextualized. The improvement of the teaching-learning relationship, student protagonism, process innovation and control of premature evasion were also verified results.
